So I was sending my contact info to someone I am meeting through the interwebs and thought to myself “gee I wonder what they would see if they googled my name” because that’s the first thing I do when I get theirs (sometimes before… it’s not stalking, it’s intelligence gathering). Moving on. So I search “Karl Schwende” and only get 1 result which has nothing to do with me. This is an issue on it’s own but one I’ll tackle later as I press on to further searches. I search just Schwende and come up with a bunch of hits about Schwende Switzerland which I’m fine with but then there’s this guy Tyler Schwende (screenshot of website above). Who the hell is he and, oh god he has a myspace profile, and is apparently a musician. More research will need to be done, I may even have to bring out the big search guns…
Anyway, the real purpose of the search was to make sure this website isn’t popping up yet in the results for the purpose of both a ‘things to work on with google list’ and the peace of mind that I’m still controlling the rate of information flow to those I’m currently sending my email address to. Or as just saw/remembered one quick myspace search will find me, and I’m mentioning this lovely new project where one can drink from the firehose… um, yeah…. hi!
Well, he’s got you beat in the looks dept. I wonder if we could threaten him and get him to change his name… Or you could change your’s to Tyler.
